I blanched (skinned) almonds and am now soaking then over night in preparation of almond milking tomorrow morning!! Eeeeek!! I’m really excited. My life is so lame-these are the things I get pumped about. HOMEMADE ALMOND MILK?!?
Blanching Almonds:
1. Boil water
2. Remove water from heat
3. Add almonds
4. Let sit for 1 minute
5. Let cool slightly
6. Squeeze almonds between a fingers
7. Remove almond skin!!!
Ta-da!!
